Gradlon
Gradlon is a legendary king of Cornouaille in Brittany, said to have ruled in the 5th or 6th century. In Breton legend he gave land to Saint Corentin and Saint Guénolé and ruled from the city of Ys, which was drowned by the sea when his daughter Dahut opened its floodgates, while Gradlon escaped on horseback. His equestrian statue stands between the spires of Quimper Cathedral.
