Quimper
Quimper is a city in Finistère, western Brittany, at the confluence of the Odet and Steir rivers, and the historic capital of Cornouaille. It grew around the see traditionally founded by Saint Corentin, whose Gothic cathedral dominates the town, and its counts became dukes of Brittany in the 11th century. It is known for its faience pottery and remains a centre of Breton culture.
