Gravisca

Also known as Graviscae

Gravisca (Graviscae) was the port of the Etruscan city of Tarquinii on the Tyrrhenian coast of Italy. From the early 6th century BCE it held a sanctuary used by Greek traders, with offerings to Aphrodite, Hera and Demeter, excavated from 1969. The Romans founded a colony there in 181 BCE.
