Gümüştekin Gazi was the Danishmendid emir from about 1104 to 1134, son of Danishmend Gazi. He held the crusader Bohemond of Antioch captive until 1103, took Malatya in 1103 and fought both the Byzantines and the crusader states. The Abbasid caliph granted him the title malik, and for a time he was the strongest Turkish ruler in Anatolia.
