Hanuman Dhoka
Hanuman Dhoka is the old royal palace complex on Kathmandu Durbar Square in Nepal, named after a stone image of the god Hanuman that Pratap Malla set up at its gate in 1672. It was the seat of the Malla kings of Kantipur and, after 1768, of the Shah kings of Nepal until the late 19th century. Part of the Kathmandu Valley World Heritage Site, it was damaged in the 2015 earthquake.
