House of Dreux

The House of Dreux was a cadet branch of the French royal Capetian dynasty, descended from Robert I, Count of Dreux, a son of Louis VI. In 1213 Philip II married the Breton heiress Alix to Peter Mauclerc of Dreux, whose descendants, including the later Montfort dukes, ruled the Duchy of Brittany until the line ended with Anne of Brittany in 1514.
