House of Eggenberg
The House of Eggenberg was an Austrian noble family from Graz that rose to great wealth in Habsburg service. Hans Ulrich von Eggenberg, chief adviser of Emperor Ferdinand II, was made a prince and received the Bohemian duchy of Krumau. The family built Eggenberg Palace in Graz; when its male line died out in 1717, its Bohemian estates passed to the Schwarzenbergs.
