Hujung Galuh
Hujung Galuh was a port on the lower Brantas River in East Java, mentioned in inscriptions of King Airlangga in the 11th century. Airlangga built dams on the Brantas to protect it from floods, and it served as a harbour where ships from other islands and overseas traded. Its exact location is uncertain but it is generally placed near modern Surabaya.
