Kediri Kingdom
The Kediri Kingdom was a Hindu-Buddhist state in eastern Java that flourished in the eleventh and twelfth centuries. Its rise, followed by that of Singhasari and Majapahit, created a powerful rival centre in the region. This shift contributed to the decline of the Srivijaya Empire.
