Humayun Shah Bahmani
Humayun Shah was sultan of the Bahmani Sultanate from 1458 to 1461, the son of Ala-ud-Din Ahmad Shah. He appointed Mahmud Gawan as a leading minister, but his short reign was remembered for harsh punishment of rebels and rivals, which earned him the name "the Cruel" in later chronicles. He was succeeded by his young son Nizam Shah.
