Isis

Isis was a major goddess of ancient Egypt, the wife of Osiris and mother of Horus, revered as a protector of kingship, a healer and a model of devoted motherhood. Her cult grew in the Late and Ptolemaic periods, with great temples at Philae and Behbeit el-Hagar, and spread across the Greek and Roman world. Her temple at Philae was among the last Egyptian temples in use, until its closure under Justinian.
