Judah
Judah was an ancient kingdom in the southern Levant with its capital at Jerusalem. It was conquered by the Chaldean Empire under Nebuchadnezzar II. The deportations of its people to Babylon in 597 and 587 BCE supplied skilled labour to the Chaldean economy and began the Babylonian exile.
