Kalachuri-Chedi era
The Kalachuri-Chedi era is a calendar era of ancient India whose first year began in 248 or 249 CE. It may have been founded by the Abhira king Ishvarasena, and it was later used in western India by the Traikutakas and the Kalachuris of Mahishmati and in central India by the Kalachuris of Tripuri, from whom it takes its name. Inscriptions dated in it help fix the chronology of these dynasties.
