Kalaburagi
Gulbarga, officially Kalaburagi since 2014, is a city in northern Karnataka, India. Alauddin Hasan Bahman Shah made it the first capital of the Bahmani Sultanate in 1347, and it remained the capital until the court moved to Bidar in the 1420s. The Bahmani fort with its great domed mosque, the royal tombs and the shrine of the Sufi saint Gesu Daraz date from that period.
