Kalomo

Kalomo is a town in Southern Province, Zambia, on the railway between Livingstone and Lusaka. It was the first administrative capital of North-Western Rhodesia under the British South Africa Company, from about 1899 until the seat moved to Livingstone in 1907. Nearby Iron Age settlement mounds gave their name to the Kalomo culture.
