Kanjogera
Kanjogera was a wife of King Kigeli IV Rwabugiri of Rwanda and a member of the powerful Bega clan. After Rwabugiri's death in 1895 she served as queen mother to the heir Mibambwe IV Rutarindwa, but in 1896 her faction overthrew him in the Coup of Rucunshu and put her own son Yuhi V Musinga on the throne. She and her brothers then dominated the court.
