Khunzakh
Khunzakh is a village in the mountains of central Dagestan, Russia, on a plateau above the Avar Koysu river. It was the centre of the early medieval kingdom of Sarir and later the seat of the Avar khans, who ruled much of mountainous Dagestan until the Russian conquest.
