King An of Zhou
King An of Zhou was a king of the Eastern Zhou dynasty, reigning from 401 to 376 BCE, when royal power had become largely ceremonial. His reign is remembered for his formal recognition in 386 BCE of Tian He as ruler of the State of Qi, legitimising the Tian clan's usurpation of the Jiang ducal house, following his predecessor's recognition of the partition of Jin.
