Kissamos
Kissamos is a town on the Gulf of Kissamos in north-western Crete, Greece, also known as Kastelli. In antiquity Kisamos served as the harbour of the hill city of Polyrrhenia and later became a city in its own right, with a bishopric in Roman and Byzantine times. Excavations have uncovered Roman houses with fine mosaics, shown in the town's museum.
