Kleinbasel
Kleinbasel, 'Little Basel', is the part of the city of Basel on the right, northern bank of the Rhine in Switzerland. Founded in the 13th century as a separate town at the end of the Rhine bridge, it was bought by the city of Basel from the bishop in 1392 and merged with it. It keeps its own traditions, such as the Vogel Gryff festival.
