Kroměříž

Also known as Kremsier

Kroměříž, in German Kremsier, is a town in Moravia in the Czech Republic, long the summer seat of the bishops and archbishops of Olomouc, whose palace and gardens are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From November 1848 to March 1849 the Austrian Reichstag sat there and drafted a liberal constitution, but it was dissolved by the government before the draft could take effect.
