Lake Tempe
Lake Tempe is a shallow lake in South Sulawesi, Indonesia, lying mainly in Wajo Regency west of the town of Sengkang. It is fed by rivers from the surrounding lowlands, and its size varies greatly between the wet and dry seasons. The lake supports one of the region's main inland fisheries, and the Bugis kingdom of Wajo arose along its shores in the 15th century.
