Lakshmi Singha
Lakshmi Singha was king of the Ahom kingdom of Assam from 1769 to 1780, the youngest son of Rudra Singha to reign. Early in his reign the Moamoria rebellion broke out; the rebels seized the capital Rangpur, captured him and held power for several months before royalists retook the city. The rest of his reign was marked by harsh reprisals against the Moamorias that fed later risings.
