Lakshmi
Lakshmi is the Hindu goddess of wealth, fortune and prosperity, and the consort of Vishnu. She is often shown seated or standing on a lotus, sometimes flanked by elephants pouring water over her, a form known as Gaja Lakshmi. Her image appears on early Indian coins, from the Kunindas and the Guptas to the Ghurid sultan Mu'izz al-Din, and she is especially worshipped at the festival of Diwali.
