Lānaʻi
Lānaʻi is the sixth-largest of the main Hawaiian Islands, lying west of Maui and south of Molokaʻi. Dry and sparsely settled, it usually fell under the rule of Maui's chiefs. In the 20th century almost the whole island became a pineapple plantation of the Dole company, and it is now mostly in private ownership.
