Latin War
The Latin War of 340–338 BCE was fought between Rome and its former allies of the Latin League, joined by the Campanians and Volsci. Rome won and in 338 BCE dissolved the league, making separate treaties with each town. Some cities received Roman citizenship, while others, such as Tibur and Praeneste, remained allies with reduced territory.
