Li clan of Longxi
The Li clan of Longxi was a prominent aristocratic family of north-western China, from the Longxi commandery in today's Gansu. It claimed descent from the Han general Li Guang, and Li Gao, founder of the Western Liang state in 400, came from it. The ruling house of the Tang dynasty also claimed Longxi Li ancestry, which made it one of the most prestigious lineages of medieval China.
