Lord Meng of Huang
Lord Meng of Huang was a ruler of the small Zhou-era state of Huang in southern Henan in the 7th century BCE. His tomb and that of his wife were excavated at Guangshan in 1983 and yielded fine bronze vessels, jades and lacquerware, which show an aristocratic culture close to that of the Central Plain. Huang was destroyed by the State of Chu in 648 BCE.
