Louis, Cardinal of Bar
Louis of Bar was a French churchman and cardinal who inherited the Duchy of Bar in 1415, after his brothers were killed at the Battle of Agincourt. A younger son of Duke Robert I of Bar, he held several bishoprics during the Western Schism. He passed Bar to his great-nephew René of Anjou, whose marriage to Isabella of Lorraine prepared the union of Bar and Lorraine, and died in 1430.
