r. c. 1099–1082 BCE · 11th century BCE

Marduk-nadin-ahhe was a king of Babylon of the Second Dynasty of Isin, reigning from about 1099 to 1082 BCE, and a brother of Nebuchadnezzar I. He raided Assyria and carried off statues of gods from Ekallatum, but the Assyrian king Tiglath-Pileser I struck back, raiding Babylonia and burning palaces in Babylon. His later years were marked by famine and Aramean incursions.
