Mashobra
Mashobra is a hill resort about 12 kilometres north-east of Shimla in Himachal Pradesh, India, set among forests of oak and pine at more than 2,000 metres. In the colonial period it lay among the small Simla Hill States and became a summer retreat for British officials. The Retreat at Mashobra, built in the 19th century, is now a summer residence of the President of India.
