Meisenheim

Meisenheim is a small town on the Glan in Rhineland-Palatinate, with a well-preserved medieval centre. It was a residence of the counts of Veldenz and later of the dukes of Palatinate-Zweibrücken, whose Gothic Schlosskirche holds their tombs. After 1815 it belonged to Hesse-Homburg, and from 1866 to Prussia.
