Mljet
Mljet is a Croatian island in the southern Adriatic, west of Dubrovnik. Listed by Constantine VII among the islands of the Narentines, it later came under the Republic of Ragusa in the 14th century and remained part of it until 1808. A Benedictine monastery stands on an islet in its lakes, and much of the island has been a national park since 1960.
