Montana
Montana is a state of the north-western United States, stretching from the Rocky Mountains to the northern Great Plains. Once home to the Blackfeet, Crow, Cheyenne and other peoples, it saw gold rushes in the 1860s and the Battle of the Little Bighorn in 1876, and became the 41st state in 1889. The Blackfeet Reservation lies in its north-west, along the Canadian border.
