Moravian Gate

The Moravian Gate is a lowland corridor in the eastern Czech Republic between the Carpathians and the Sudetes, linking the valley of the Oder with that of the Bečva, a tributary of the Morava. It has been a natural route between the Baltic and the Danube basin since prehistoric times, used by the Amber Road and later by major roads and railways.
