Sudetes
The Sudetes are a mountain range of central Europe along the border of the Czech Republic and Poland, with a small part in Germany, stretching about 300 km from Lusatia to the Moravian Gate. The highest peak is Sněžka in the Giant Mountains. The range encloses the Kłodzko basin and later gave its name to the Sudetenland, the German-speaking borderlands of Czechoslovakia.
