State

Czechoslovakia

Czechoslovakia was a state in central Europe created in 1918 from the Czech lands of Bohemia and Moravia and from Slovakia. It was one of the successor states that emerged from the collapse of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. It inherited much of the former empire's industrial base and peacefully divided into the Czech Republic and Slovakia in 1993.
