Muria
The Muria are a Gondi-speaking Adivasi people of the Bastar region of Chhattisgarh, India. They are known for the ghotul, a village dormitory where young people lived, learned and took part in community life, and for their dances and crafts. Like other Bastar communities, they kept close ritual ties with the goddess Danteshwari and the Rajas of Bastar.
