Nartiang

Nartiang is a village in the West Jaintia Hills of Meghalaya, north-east India, once a summer seat of the Jaintia kings. It is known for one of the largest groups of megaliths in the region: hundreds of standing stones and flat table stones raised as memorials by clans and rulers. A Durga temple at Nartiang reflects the court's adoption of Hindu worship.
