Nedong
Nedong is a district in the Yarlung valley of the Lhoka region of central Tibet, now part of the city of Shannan. From the 1350s it was the seat of the Phagmodrupa rulers, who governed most of central Tibet from their palace there after Changchub Gyaltsen overthrew the Sakya regime. It remained their residence until their power faded in the early 17th century.
