Northern Qi

The Northern Qi was a dynasty that ruled north-eastern China from 550 to 577 CE, one of the Northern Dynasties. It competed with the Northern Zhou for supremacy in the north. Both states paid tribute and sought alliances with the Gokturk Empire, which exploited their rivalry.
