Obersontheim

Obersontheim is a village in the district of Schwäbisch Hall in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. In the early modern period it was the residence of the Limpurg-Sontheim branch of the Schenks of Limpurg, whose castle survives. After the family died out in 1713 it passed to their heirs, and in 1806 it became part of Württemberg.
