Ögedeid khanate
The Ögedeid khanate refers to the domains of the descendants of Ögedei Khan in Central Asia, which became a significant power under Kaidu in the late thirteenth century. In alliance with Duwa of the Chagatai Empire, Kaidu waged sustained wars against Kublai Khan's Yuan dynasty. After Kaidu's death in 1301 the Ögedeid lands were absorbed by the Chagatai khans.
