Olaf Guild

Also known as St Olaf's Guild

The Olaf Guild, named after the Norwegian saint Olaf, was the oldest of the guilds of Reval (Tallinn). Its members were craftsmen of lower-status trades and, unusually, included Estonians as well as Germans, though Germans increasingly dominated it. Its guild hall stands on Pikk Street next to the parish church of St Olaf.
