Otto I of Nassau
Otto I of Nassau was a 13th-century count of Nassau and founder of the Ottonian line of the House of Nassau. In the division of 1255 with his brother Walram II he received the lands north of the Lahn, including Siegen, Dillenburg and Herborn, while Walram kept the southern lands. His line later produced the counts of Nassau-Dillenburg and the House of Orange-Nassau.
