Dillenburg
Dillenburg is a town in central Hesse, Germany, on the Dill. Its castle, built in the 13th century, became the main residence of the Ottonian counts of Nassau, and William the Silent was born there in 1533. The castle was destroyed during the Seven Years' War in 1760, and only its casemates and the 19th-century William Tower remain.
