Pa Sak River

The Pa Sak is a river of central Thailand, about 513 km long, which rises in Loei province and flows south to join the Chao Phraya at Ayutthaya. Its confluence with the Lopburi and Chao Phraya rivers formed the island on which Ayutthaya was founded in 1351. The Pasak Jolasid Dam, completed in 1999, controls its floods.
