Parihar
The Parihars are a Rajput clan of northern and central India who claim descent from the Gurjara-Pratihara dynasty, which ruled much of northern India from the 8th to the 11th century. Parihar families held small states in Bundelkhand and Baghelkhand, among them Nagod and Alipura, under British protection until 1948.
