Pforzheim

Pforzheim is a city at the northern edge of the Black Forest in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It was a residence of the margraves of Baden in the Middle Ages, and from 1767 it developed a major jewellery and watchmaking industry, earning the name 'Gold City'. Most of the city was destroyed in an air raid on 23 February 1945.
