Pliva
The Pliva is a river in western Bosnia and Herzegovina that flows through the Pliva lakes and joins the Vrbas at Jajce in a waterfall over 20 metres high in the centre of the town. Its valley formed part of the defences of Jajce, the royal Bosnian fortress that became the seat of a Hungarian banate after 1463, guarding the route into central Bosnia.
